Enterosystem 18R for the identification of Gram-negative, oxidase negative enterobacteria

Enterosystem 18R is a 18-well system containing desiccated biochemical substrata for the identification of Gram-negative, oxidase negative enterobacteria. The system is inoculated with the suspension of the organism to be examined and incubated at 36±1 °C for 12-18-24 hours.

The microorganism is identified by assessing the colour change of the various wells in order to determine the corresponding numerical code. The combination of positive and negative reactions permits to identify the examined bacterium by using the Enterosystem 18R Code Book (Ref. 71710) or the Identification Code Disk software (Ref. 71711).
