M17-S Agar & MRS 5.4 Agar for dairy products

Developed in accordance with ISO 7889-IDF 117, M17-S Agar and MRS 5.4 Agar are complementary culture media designed for the standardized enumeration of yogurt starter microorganisms.

M17-S Agar is optimized for the recovery of S. thermophilus, whereas MRS 5.4 Agar is formulated for L. delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus, together providing a reliable solution for microbiological quality control of yogurt and fermented dairy products.
