Biological indicators Suspension Spore GST VHP E8/E7/E6/E5 are used for regular control of H2O2 vapour superficial sterilization cycles and validation of sterilizers. These bioindicators consist of Geobacillus stearothermophilus ATCC® 7953 spore suspension in distilled water in predefined concentrations.

Biological indicators Suspension Spore GST VHP E8/E7/E6/E5 are produced under strictly controlled conditions in order to satisfy the requirements indicated in the USP current edition and in accordance with ISO 11138 and EN 866 standards.

Spores are completely killed off if the sterilization cycle has been efficient. In this case , during the following incubation of biological indicator in a suitable medium, spores are not able to grow and to modify the medium’s aspect. On the contrary if the sterilization cycle has not been efficient, spores partially survive and therefore during the incubation are able to grow and to modify the medium’s aspect.
