Sulbactam-durlobactam MTS™ (MIC Test Strip) SUD 0.004/4-64/4 is an in-vitro quantitative method, made of special high-quality paper impregnated with a predefined concentration gradient of antibiotic across 15 two-fold dilutions like those of a conventional MIC method, for antimicrobial susceptibility of clinical isolates tested on agar media using overnight incubation.
Sulbactam-durlobactam SUD 0.004/4-64/4 consists of a predefined gradient of sulbactam-durlobactam, where the Sulbactam concentration ranges from 0.004 to 64 ?g/mL, while the concentration of durlobactam is fixed at 4 ?g/ml, used to determine the MIC of the antibiotic against the following microorganisms:
Gram-negative bacteria
Acinetobacter spp.
MTS™ (MIC Test Strip) are a gradient test used to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of selected organisms to indicate appropriate patient treatment and for identifying resistance patterns. The MIC is the minimum inhibitory concentration of an antimicrobial drug that will inhibit the growth of microbes under standardized in-vitro conditions.
Sulbactam-durlobactam MTS™ is currently available for research use only (RUO).
