TKT Edwards Medium Modified for the isolation of S. agalactiae in bovine mastitis

Selective medium for the isolation of Streptococcus agalactiae in bovine mastitis.

The medium allows easy identification through the CAMP reaction: S. agalactiae gives blue colonies with ?-haemolysis, whereas E. faecalis gives blue colonies and is CAMP negative.
