Tryptic Soy Agar + Neutralizing Contact Plate for Total Colony Count of surfaces and air.
The composition of TSA complies with USP, EP and JP with the addition of neutralizing agents (Histidine, lecithin, polysorbate 80 and sodium thiosulfate) to inactivate residual disinfectants, thus allowing detection of microorganisms surviving the antiseptic treatment of surfaces and materials.
This medium is available as gamma-irradiated, triple-bagged, individually packed contact plates particularly suitable for use in restricted areas like isolators and clean rooms.
